To catalyze economic development in the border region, we must understand the region well. Using compatible mapping tools, the United States will work with Mexico to map the industrial, manufacturing, and financial communities. In this way, together, we can make smart decisions about exports, imports and investments based on our assets across our border.
To reduce trade costs, our Customs administrations will continue to implement single cargo manifests for rail, air and ocean freight, and will initiate the development and implementation of the single cargo manifest for trucks.
